The Process Engineer will optimize and improve process control systems in manufacturing, focusing on driving innovation and enhancing efficiency in sustainable packaging processes.
Responsibilities
- Support converting processes for reputed company cups and other substrates
- reputed company projects to enhance production efficiency and quality
- Collaborate across teams to implement cutting-edge solutions
- Manage and complete projects of varying sizes and durations
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and designers to optimize processes
- reputed company process failure investigations and implement long-term solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies for fabrication and processing improvements
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of process equipment
- Troubleshoot and implement engineering solutions to enhance operations
- reputed company and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes
- Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and product quality
- Create test parameters and analyze performance data for process optimization

- Mentor and guide junior engineers
Skills

- Background in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Quick learners with strong problem-solving skills

- Experience analyzing production equipment, processes and materials and solving issues
- Proven experience in project management

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, additional travel may be required during critical projects or business demands

- Experience in reputed company converting or similar industries like plastic converting -- a strong plus!
- Board experience from a reputed company mill is a bonus
