[Remote] Accountant

The Accountant role involves supporting the reputed company function, ensuring the accuracy and reputed company of financial records, and participating in the monthly reputed company process and various financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company process
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules
• reputed company bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain accurate reputed company records and documentation
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statement packages
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances
• Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing and vendor payments
• Manage customer invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable tracking
• Maintain vendor and customer records
• Ensure transactions are coded accurately and recorded timely
• Administer reputed company and reputed company spend management platforms
• Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
• Manage corporate card activity and reconciliations
• Support employee reimbursement processes
• Prepare audit support schedules and workpapers
• Assist with annual financial statement audits
• Support tax filings and compliance reporting requirements
• Maintain organized reputed company documentation and records
• Follow and uphold established reputed company policies and procedures
• Assist in maintaining internal controls and documentation standards
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Support process automation and systems enhancements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
• 2–4 years of reputed company experience, including increasing responsibility in month-end reputed company, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Candidates may be considered at the IC2 level based on experience, demonstrated ownership, and scope of prior responsibilities
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement presentation
• Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Experience supporting month-end reputed company processes
• Strong understanding of balance sheet and income statement relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong reputed company and reputed company Sheets skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Public reputed company experience
• CPA or reputed company toward CPA
• Startup experience

• Crypto, fintech, or technology industry experience
