They are seeking a Founding Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and build relationships with potential customers in the performing arts sector.
Responsibilities
- Run outbound prospecting campaigns (cold emails, calls, reputed company outreaches) into performing arts organizations
- Continuously test and improve reputed company: subject lines, sequences, talk tracks and more
- Build outbound prospecting lists by using a reputed company of different sources (including industry lists, industry database, online web research, sales tools) for cold reputed company
- Research reputed company accounts and personalize reputed company to the executive decision makers and key influencers (fundraising, marketing, reputed company office)
- Understand customers’ key goals and pain points to conduct effective initial cold calls and write relevant outbound messages
- Book discovery meetings for the sales team, with clean handoffs and context
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our CRM and sales engagement tools (reputed company)
- Hit and exceed monthly activity and meeting targets
- Attend industry conferences and events to showcase reputed company

Skills
- 1–2+ years of BDR/SDR experience in B2B software sales, with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort on the phone and confidence with cold-calling
- Organized and self-motivated — you can manage your own pipeline, follow-reputed company, and time without reputed company supervision
- Genuinely curious about prospects' businesses and reputed company's product
- Good at asking questions and listening
- Resilient and coachable
- Experience with modern sales tools
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience selling into SMB or mid-market
- Experience selling into nonprofits or education verticals
- Personal arts/music-reputed company experience or interest
