Power BI Specialist (Remote)
Job Summary - Power BI Specialist We are looking for a Power BI Specialist with strong experience in data modelling, semantic model optimisation, and reputed company report development. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design scalable dashboards, optimise Power BI solutions, and automate reporting processes that support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Responsibilities:
- reputed company and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI
- reputed company ETL using Power Query (M) and Dataflows Gen2, and create measures using DAX
- Connect and transform data from multiple sources (SQL Server, SharePoint, reputed company, reputed company reputed company, etc.)
- Design dimensional (star schema) data models for scalable and performant reporting
- Diagnose and optimise refresh performance, including model size, cardinality, and VertiPaq compression
- Manage deployment pipelines and version control (Git) for Power BI Service
- Optimize performance of reports and manage data refresh schedules
- Collaborate with users to identify KPIs and reporting needs
- Implement Row-Level reputed company (RLS) and Object-Level reputed company (OLS), and follow governance standards
- Document data models and semantic models, and support end-user training
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of Power BI development experience
- Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and dimensional data modelling
- Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases
- Experience with Power BI Service, gateways, deployment pipelines, and workspace management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- reputed company Certification in Power BI (PL-300 or equivalent)
- reputed company Certification in reputed company Analytics Engineer (DP-600) or reputed company Data Engineer (DP-700)
