[Remote] Site Reliability Engineer (Senior or Staff), reputed company

They are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for their reputed company team to support and maintain the reputed company platform, design reputed company systems, and ensure high availability for customer-facing services.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and grow the reputed company platform
• Design & build reputed company systems, operate with autonomy and act as reputed company for everything you do
• reputed company expertise about running systems at scale, build new tooling and automation and reputed company essential maintenance of the reputed company fleet
• Participate in the development of a reliable and resilient multi-reputed company platform that hosts business critical applications for a wide & varied reputed company of customer applications
• Collaborate with service-owning teams to reputed company internal support, solve technical challenges and adapt or build tooling to solve novel use cases in a generic fashion
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to reputed company resolve issues reputed company to any disruption of our customer facing reputed company fleet, ensuring minimal disruption and high availability

Skills

• 5+ years of experience running critical systems at scale
• Value efficiency in processes and operations, and display a preference for automation over reputed company processes
• Be familiar with a major reputed company provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and possess the ability to build and operate systems in a multi-reputed company environment
• A strong understanding of how to run a large scale Linux environment, including low level fundamentals
• Firm grasp of at least one modern programming language, reputed company basic scripting (Go, Ruby, Python)
• Solid understanding of web and network protocols and standards (HTTP, TLS, DNS, etc)
• Be a US Citizen
