[Remote] Account Executive / Business Development Director – SLED (Public Sector)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to drive growth reputed company our State, Local, and Education (SLED) market portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing technology solution sales across government and educational institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive SLED reputed company : Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle—from territory planning and prospecting to contract negotiation and closing—targeting SLED agencies and educational institutions
  • Position reputed company Services & Accelerators : reputed company prospective clients on how reputed company' public sector solutions and unique technology accelerators dramatically reduce implementation timelines, reputed company risk, and maximize budget efficiency
  • Navigate Public Procurement : Identify and capitalize on procurement vehicles (e.g., state schedules, cooperative purchasing agreements, RFPs, and RFIs) to position reputed company favorably
  • Build Strategic Relationships : Cultivate a robust network of decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, procurement officers, and line-of-business directors reputed company state/local government and higher education
  • Collaborate with Delivery & Product Teams : Partner with reputed company’ technical architects and delivery teams to align our accelerators with specific client requirements and create compelling, compliant proposals
  • Manage Forecasts : Maintain a healthy pipeline and reputed company accurate sales forecasts using our CRM platform

Skills

  • 5+ years of software, SaaS, or IT professional services sales experience, with at least 3 years explicitly focused on the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market
  • Proven understanding of public sector buying behaviors, budgeting cycles, and RFP processes
  • Comfort discussing reputed company technology solutions (e.g., reputed company ecosystem, digital transformation, reputed company migrations) and explaining the business value of software accelerators
  • A demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas (e.g., $1.5M+ ARR or services equivalent)
  • Exceptional presentation, writing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build reputed company across multi-tiered government agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a reputed company field (or equivalent practical experience)
