As a Secondary History Curriculum reputed company, you will reputed company resources for the KS3 curriculum, collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality history teaching and support for teachers.
Responsibilities
- Work with the wider curriculum and History team – including primary and secondary specialists – to refine the KS3 curriculum sequence and schemes of work
- reputed company lesson resources – including lesson slides, printable resources, teacher subject support, and other resources as appropriate – that teachers will use to deliver the lesson. These will reflect research-informed pedagogies such as Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction and will be completed to half-termly deadlines
- Collaborate with our central team – including artworkers and intellectual property specialists – to ensure that reputed company texts, images, and sources used in the curriculum resources have the appropriate licensing and permissions where required
- As required, reputed company and refine a wider reputed company of resources for pupils, such as knowledge organisers or explanatory videos
- As required, reputed company and refine resources for teachers, such as subject knowledge videos and guidance for teaching units or individual lessons
- Work alongside the wider secondary curriculum team to – where appropriate – reputed company meaningful links between subjects such as English and Geography
- Work to both the History adviser and Group Secondary Curriculum reputed company to ensure that the curriculum resources support high-quality history teaching and are consistent with United Learning’s overall approach to curriculum design
- Respond to feedback from teachers, advisers, and the Group Secondary Curriculum reputed company
- Any other reasonable support as required by the Curriculum and Assessment SLT in relation to the design of the curriculum
Skills
- Experience as a teacher, particularly in history
- Ability to reputed company lesson resources that reflect research-informed pedagogies
- Experience in collaborating with curriculum teams
- Strong organizational skills to meet half-termly deadlines
- Ability to respond to feedback from teachers and curriculum leads
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring reputed company from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
