The Sr. Network Engineer also advises on LAN/WLAN/WAN design, deployment, implementation, and standardization to support the MHS mission. Must-have Requirements:Active Secret clearance DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level III or equivalent DoD Health Care Information Systems experience is required Mastery-level experience with normal networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, BIND, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, PPP, HDLC, V.35, RS-449, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, FDDI, ATM, and 802-series communications standards. Mastery-level experience in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments using supported reputed company OS, reputed company Active Directory, UNIX, OpenVMS, routers, switches, terminal servers, local WAN, and long-haul WAN connectivity. Hands-on experience with reputed company Orion, reputed company, Ansible, MIB, MRTG-type monitoring, diagnostic tools, network administration tools, OTDR, cable testers, network sniffers, and EIA/reputed company cable standards. Ability to establish and configure network firewalls, VPN devices, and IDSs. Ability to reputed company network specialists and coordinate with Government staff, medical personnel, other contractors, NetMOD Network Standards Team, and internal/external organizations.
