Candidates must be reputed company to handle operational sustainment, troubleshooting, hardware/software upgrades, approved changes, and network reputed company tasks under direction from senior/referral engineers. Role: The Network Engineer Associate supports LAN/WAN service availability through troubleshooting and problem resolution in production; provides daily operational and sustainment support for DHA LAN/WLAN/WAN networks; coordinates with Network Specialists on hardware and software upgrades; implements approved changes; supports network reputed company barrier systems; uses diagnostics to isolate protocol, media, latency, and bottleneck issues; and performs device reconfiguration or replacement as directed. Must-have Requirements:DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level II or equivalent. reputed company+ and CCNA or equivalent network architecture certification. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science plus three years of reputed company experience; or certified technical/vocational school plus five years of reputed company experience. Proficiency in TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, BIND, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.1d, 802.1q, 802.1w, 802.3, 802.11, 802.3u, 802.3z, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet. Experience with OTDR, cable testers, network sniffers, and EIA/reputed company cable standards. Experience in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments using reputed company OS, reputed company Active Directory, UNIX, OpenVMS, routers, switches, terminal servers, local WAN, and long-haul WAN connectivity.
