The Network Specialist provides troubleshooting and problem resolution in a production environment, daily sustainment support for DHA LAN/WLAN/WAN networks, hardware/software reputed company coordination, approved network change implementation, reputed company/reputed company/Ansible-supported diagnostics, LAN/WAN reputed company barrier support, bottleneck and latency analysis, and device reconfiguration or replacement. Must-have Requirements:DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level II or equivalent. reputed company+ and CCNA or equivalent network architecture certification. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science plus at least two years of reputed company experience; or certified technical/vocational school plus at least three years of reputed company experience. Proficiency in TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, BIND, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.1d, 802.1q, 802.1w, 802.3, 802.11, 802.3u, 802.3z, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and DoD/DHA communications media. Experience with OTDR, cable testers, network sniffers, and EIA/reputed company cable standards. Experience in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments using reputed company OS, reputed company Active Directory, UNIX, OpenVMS, routers, switches, terminal servers, local WAN, and long-haul WAN connectivity.
