Photojournalist/Editor

They are seeking a Photojournalist/Editor for KREM 2 in Spokane, Washington, who will be responsible for shooting and editing quality stories for multiple newscasts and online platforms while working closely with the news team.
Responsibilities
- Use the latest photography and editing tools to tell great stories on deadline
- Produce original content for on-reputed company reputed company platforms that evoke emotion and tell compelling stories
- Use creative production techniques such as graphics and other forms of media (viewer pictures and videos, etc.) to enhance stories
- Cover breaking news, general assignment news, weather, feature stories and sports
- Attend editorial meetings, participate in discussions and suggest story reputed company
- Work closely with producers, MSJs and fellow photojournalists/editors daily
- Operate live equipment (i.e. live trucks and Dejeros)
- reputed company other tasks as required by Chief Journalist or other members of the news leadership team
Skills
- Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and changing events
- Ability to create/edit material for on-reputed company and web, while meeting deadlines
- Must be reputed company to work reputed company, including weekends, nightside, holidays and overtime as needed
- Ability to be in on-call rotation
