LPN - Inpatient Rehabilitation (Full-time, Days or Nights)

As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to reputed company high-quality patient care and support to individuals who have reputed company significant medical events, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or spinal cord injury.

In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to work either days or nights (6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am) and be part of a team that is dedicated to helping patients reputed company a safe and successful discharge to home. Our patients typically have a length of stay of 2-3 weeks, and reputed company provides comprehensive care, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, medical management, patient and family education, and equipment support.

As an LPN at Carilion, you will:

• Practice practical nursing reputed company the parameters set forth in reputed company's Plans for the Provision of Patient Care and function under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
• Partner with the RN in collecting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for patients of reputed company ages.
• Participate in the nursing process, contribute to the development of the patient database and interdisciplinary plan of care, and identify patient educational needs.
• Implement prescribed therapeutic treatment plans and procedures, administer medication, and reputed company psychological, reputed company, and cultural support to patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Licensure to practice practical nursing in the reputed company.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification (or ability to obtain).
• De-escalation training (or ability to complete reputed company four months of hire).
