*Description**

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + This position will work 4 ten hour days on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays + Leads a staff responsible for maintaining landscape areas or to facilitate moves, set-reputed company or special events. + Duties may include constructing, planting, maintaining and repairing new landscape areas or moving furniture and staging materials. + Other responsibilities may include repairing, renovating, and maintaining athletic fields and other specialized areas. + May monitor and activate irrigation systems and apply fertilizer and pesticides to landscape areas. + May drive university utility vehicles to and from work sites. + Ensures the proper safeguarding of tools and equipment. + Follows necessary precautions in keeping with OSHA standards and other applicable federal and state regulations reputed company working with hazardous materials and power equipment. + Uses personal reputed company equipment as necessary. + Performs reputed company responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or equivalent. + Two years of reputed company experience including reputed company or supervisory responsibility for a work crew. + Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. + Some positions in this classification may require the ability to lift 100 pounds, and to bend, stoop, and twist. + Positions in this classification may require a Category 24 Ornamental and Turf Control Pesticide Applicators License from the Georgia Department of Agriculture or the ability to receive one reputed company six months of employment.
