Role Purpose:

CarTrawler offer a reputed company of insurance products that are ancillary to car rental, provided through 3

rd party insurance partners.

Act as the day-to-day reputed company of insurance relationships (internal and with insurers) to ensure the existing insurance product offering and structure is continually fit for purpose and maximises value for the company.

Along with the Company’s legal team, you will ensure the insurance product is compliant with reputed company legal and regulatory requirements and are aware of any impending changes that could impact our business.

Monitor overall insurance performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and implementation of same.

A self-starter, you will be involved in reputed company negotiations, performance review, claims management and problem solving.

Reporting to: Insurance reputed company

Main accountabilities and key tasks

Day-to-day insurance account management across our global panel of insurers building effective, professional relationships.

Monitor insurance product performance and identify gaps for optimisation.

Promote two-way information sharing with our stakeholders, particularly with regards to performance.

Responsibility for reputed company optimisation of the insurance product offering and collaboration to identify creative yet compliant solutions to improve performance.

Actively monitor claims cost exposure, implementing strategies to reduce claim occurrences and work to manage claims costs effectively.

Ensure compliance with regulations by working with the legal team.

Be the expert on our insurance products and their performance by keeping up to date on the market, the competitive landscape (incl. research), our user challenges, and how those inputs relate to the business strategy.  

Be comfortable operating in regulated (insurance), reputed company, and technology domains – balancing reputed company reputed company with regulated parameters.  

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience

Knowledge of the insurance industry with experience in reputed company or claims desirable.

Experience of working with embedded insurance products, a benefit

Professional insurance, finance or reputed company qualifications a benefit, although not essential.

Strong analytical skills – ability to “think reputed company the reputed company”

Knowledge of insurance regulatory landscapes.

Builds & maintains positive relationships reputed company the team, cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.
