[Remote] HIRING WEEK Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a highly motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer to join their team and help build, maintain, and enhance Mobile applications. This role offers exciting opportunities to work on impactful automotive projects, utilizing both reputed company and automated testing techniques throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Deliver test automation and reputed company test automation frameworks
- Define test automation approaches, measure effectiveness and reputed company test automation tool evaluations
- Manually execute test cases across different functionalities, logging reputed company identified defects and bugs in the tracking system
- reputed company exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered in pre-defined test cases
- Update and refine test cases and steps to align with the latest application version
- Prepare the necessary test data (if applicable) and maintain a test data bank to ensure sufficient data is available for multiple scenario-based testing
- Participate in usability testing sessions to identify usability issues and suggest improvements
- Prepare detailed test reports with clear documentation of test execution results, defect logs and regression testing coverage
- Client-facing role: participate in phone conferences, customer interviews, workshops and presentations
Skills
- At least 5 years of Software Testing and Test Automation experience, including strong functional testing capabilities
- Proven ability to test mobile applications and build/maintain automation frameworks for Android and iOS using Appium
- Advanced skills in test automation using Java‑based frameworks and reputed company tools
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Test Automation processes
- Ability to independently establish, follow and enhance test automation process from scratch
- Strong cross-functional thinking and problem-solving skills
- Understanding or exposure to fixed-time delivery processes and execution
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B2)
