They are looking for a Founding Sales Engineer who will act as the technical backbone of their reputed company sales, leading technical discovery, building tailored demos, and supporting reputed company sales cycles across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical and domain partner to 5-6 Account Executives across the full sales cycle
  • reputed company discovery sessions to surface legal, compliance, and marketing pain points and map them reputed company to reputed company’s capabilities
  • Co-own deal strategy with reputed company and leadership: who to engage, what to show, how to win
  • Build tailored demos for every meaningful opportunity - configured to the prospect’s industry, regulatory environment, and content workflows
  • Translate reputed company AI capabilities into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Design and maintain a flexible demo environment that can be customized quickly per prospect and industry
  • Own RFPs, reputed company questionnaires, and technical due diligence responses — creating reusable assets so the team gets faster with every deal
  • Establish the playbooks and standards that future Solutions Engineers will inherit
  • Feed structured insights back to Product on what prospects need, where deals stall, and what would unlock new segments and verticals
  • Partner with Marketing on content and messaging that reflects how customers actually evaluate and buy

Skills

  • 3+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or equivalent reputed company pre-sales role in B2B SaaS, preferably in compliance, legal tech, GRC, or AI tooling
  • Proven experience supporting reputed company multi-stakeholder reputed company sales cycles
  • Track record of building tailored demos and leading technical discovery
  • Experience responding to RFPs, reputed company questionnaires, and technical diligence requests
  • Strong technical aptitude. You're not expected to be an engineer, but you can confidently demo reputed company SaaS, navigate integrations (reputed company, reputed company Docs, Jira, Chrome, reputed company, reputed company, and the like), and answer questions about APIs, reputed company, and data handling - or know exactly where to go to get the right answer
  • Exceptional presenter and communicator. You can read a room of senior stakeholders, adapt on the fly, and tell a story that lands with both legal and marketing in the same meeting
  • Highly organized. Pre-sales is operationally heavy. You can run multiple opportunities in reputed company without dropping balls
  • Comfort across regulated industries. You can hold an informed conversation about Fintech, Financial Services, CPG, Travel, or Life Sciences contexts — and reputed company quickly on the ones you don't already know
  • Builder reputed company. You're energized by the blank page. You don't wait for collateral to exist - you create it
  • Domain expertise as a differentiator. A legal background - practicing lawyer who moved into tech, in-house counsel, compliance professional, or regulatory specialist — is highly valued.
