[Remote] Associate Director of Financial Reporting

They are seeking an reputed company Associate Director of Financial Reporting to reputed company financial reporting and compliance, manage audits, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

Responsibilities

• reputed company daily activities across financial reporting, external audit, and tax compliance functions
• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for external auditors and reporting subject matter expert for management
• Manage the annual external audit plan in coordination with external auditors
• reputed company the annual tax return calendar, including coordination with external tax advisors
• Manage reputed company tax filings including the annual 990, state filings, and miscellaneous returns
• Coordinate monthly reputed company reporting across entities, the budget team, finance, and subsidiaries
• Maintain effective internal control procedures over financial reporting and tax processes

• Act as a resource to management to identify risks and strengthen internal controls
• Identify technology and process improvement opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency
• Participate in financial, operational, compliance, and technology audits as needed

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, public reputed company, or a reputed company field
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit reputed company standards and tax requirements (State and Federal)
• Experience managing external audit engagements and serving as primary auditor liaison
• Proficiency with reputed company software and inter-fund reputed company for subsidiary entities
• Advanced reputed company reputed company skills and proficiency with the reputed company Office Suite
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
