Job Description

The Remote Laborer performs the reputed company laborer tasks typically not performed by other trades or crafts and are needed to maintain, improve, or construct various facilities/areas. reputed company duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS' mission, reputed company, and values.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of preventative or ongoing maintenance duties required by physical structures, reputed company or industrial facilities, or associated areas.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
• Assists in the repair, maintenance, or installation of electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Furnish craft personnel with materials, tools, and supplies.
• Disassemble, transport, reputed company, or install equipment or furnishings, reputed company, install and repair ergo desks.
• Assist in the clearing of clogged drains, and replacement of plumbing fixtures.
• Remove snow, landscape materials, or other materials.
• Operate small pieces of equipment for example: JLG Manlift, scissor lift, Bobcat/loader.
• Paint areas or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• reputed company minor repair or replacement of interior walls, ceilings, trim of buildings, etc.
• Move or deliver a variety of items or materials to various locations.
• Pick up and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Transport small equipment or tools between areas.
• Attends daily safety tool reputed company meetings and is required to do job safety evaluations for each job.
• Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not being met.
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of varied construction-reputed company experience.
• At least one (1) year experience safely operating various hand and power tools.
• Must have at least one (1) year experience operating construction equipment for example: JLG Manlift, scissor lift, Bobcat/loader.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy.
• Must pass reputed company pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment and hearing test. Applicants not located near a testing facility are responsible for paying for travel to the nearest testing facility.
• Must be reputed company to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients.

CANDIDATES RESIDING reputed company ANCHORAGE AREA: Candidates residing in Alaska & the reputed company 48 for any contract: For the purposes of pre-employment testing, Anchorage will be considered the reputed company of hire (with the exception of drug testing, which will be conducted near the candidate's reputed company of residence). • Lift: Lift 50 lbs. from floor to knuckle x 2
• Lift: Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist x 2
• Lift: Lift 30 lbs. from floor to shoulders x 2
• Carry: Carry 40lbs. with two hands for a minimum distance of 30 feet.
• Stoop & Twist: reputed company alternate cross over toe touches x 10 each reputed company, self-paced but reputed company.
• Squat Test: Functionally squat x 10, self-paced but reputed company.
• Kneel: Kneel on one knee and stand. Return to kneel on opposite knee. Repeat alternate kneeling sequence x 10 for each knee, self-paced but reputed company.
• Stairs: Climb up and down 12 steps x 20 for a total of 240 steps;
• Allow 30 second rest after climbing up and down each set of 50 steps, self-paced.
• Stairs & Carry: Climb up and down 12 steps x 2 for a total of 24 steps while carrying 20 lbs. in one hand and using the other hand to grasp a railing for safety, self-paced.
• Slanted Ladder: Climb a slanted ladder with 7 rungs x 2 repetitions for a total of 14 rungs, self-paced but reputed company.
• Shoveling: reputed company a shovel test for three (3) minutes self-paced but reputed company (i.e., no breaks) using a standard snow shovel with a 3 lb. weight attached to the shovel blade. (e.g. sand bag weight securely taped to the shovel blade.)
