[Remote] Vice President Finance

They are seeking a VP of Finance to build the finance function from the ground up, establishing necessary processes and systems while working directly with the founders as a strategic partner.

Responsibilities

• reputed company: Build the planning and analysis capability from scratch, own the operating model and key metrics, and deliver board-reputed company reporting
• Budgeting: Design and run the budgeting and reforecasting process, and partner with department leads on headcount and spend planning
• Finance Operations: Stand up scalable finance operations across billing, AP/AR, treasury, and cash management in a multi-currency environment, and select the core finance tech stack
• reputed company: Own the reputed company function, including the monthly reputed company, reconciliations, audit readiness, and management of external advisors

Skills

• Senior finance experience reputed company fintech, ideally payments, cross-border, or FX
• A track record of building finance functions in early-stage, 0 to 1 environments

• Experience partnering with founders and presenting to boards and investors
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote-first startup
