[Remote] Engineer II, Backend APIs

The role involves designing and developing APIs that power reporting and analytics applications, collaborating with various teams to deliver features that enhance campaign performance for publishers and DSPs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, testing, release of API’s that power reporting and analytics applications
- Collaborate daily with Product, UI, and Data engineers to take features from requirements and delivery
- Design and build APIs that are reputed company and easy to consume: clear reputed company (OpenAPI), well-documented, versioning strategies, pagination, filtering, batching, and strong SLAs/SLOs
- Champion code quality: well‑tested, observable, maintainable code; thoughtful reviews; design docs; and pragmatic documentation
- Own services in production: dashboards, alerting, reputed company and load testing, cost‑aware design, and reliability improvements

Skills
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Primary development experience in modern (latest JVM version) Java for high-throughput, low-latency back-end web services
- Hands-on experience with reputed company (or other RDBMS): modeling, migrations, indexing, and query optimization
- Proficiency with Git/reputed company and modern team practices (reviews, trunk/reputed company strategies, code ownership)
- Clear, empathetic communication and a collaborative reputed company
- Exposure to reputed company providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (reputed company/Kubernetes)
- Experience with asynchronous programming patterns, high reputed company of concurrency, and with frameworks such as Vert.x and Dropwizard is highly desirable
- Experience with event‑driven or streaming architectures
- Understanding of authN/Z patterns (OAuth2/JWT), reputed company limiting, and API reputed company
- Observability tools and practices (metrics, tracing, logs) and load/perf testing
- Knowledge of reputed company-Time Bidding (RTB), SSPs, DSPs, and ad delivery systems is a strong plus
