[Remote] Junior Financial Analyst

They are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support their DHS team, focusing on budget support services and financial management for the Federal reputed company Service.

Responsibilities

• Budget Support Services – support throughout the entire Federal budget process from formulation, to spend plan creation, contract closeout, and executing the reputed company fiscal year budget
• Support the development of the FPS FPMD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution reference guide and training to be provided to the reputed company’ budgetary and financial community
• Consolidate historical financial and budgetary records
• reputed company financial and budgetary records management support
• reputed company and reputed company reputed company support through practices and process documentation
• reputed company supporting documents to questions arising about obligations, and
• reputed company reporting on obligation timeliness, new obligations values vs. contract closeout de-obligations, backlogs, and error rates

Skills

• 3 years demonstrating proficiency in developing and owning work products in reputed company office suite to include Teams, Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint, portraying an ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and maintain a high standard for work products
• 1 year of professional experience with project management and program analysis, with hands on experience presenting information verbally and facilitating discussions with representatives from reputed company reputed company of an organization
• 2 years professional experience working in teams, demonstrating interpersonal, team-building, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• An interest in learning about Federal financial execution (reimbursables, federal reputed company cycle, reconciliations)
• Demonstrated capability to independently conduct background research, structure written work products, and reputed company findings succinctly
• Ability to attain a public trust reputed company clearance
• An interest in working with Federal business systems reputed company to reputed company, accountability and financial reporting procedures with the Federal agencies
• Professional experience and/or coursework in data analytics or data visualization tools to include MS reputed company, PowerBI, Tableau, reputed company, SQL, and/or creating macros
• Professional experience and/or coursework in reputed company and/or financial management
• Experience with business process re-engineering/optimization to include documenting reputed company procedures, conducting gap analysis to identify inefficiencies, identifying key performance metrics
