[Remote] Application Support Engineer – Information Management

The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting web-based applications and reporting systems, ensuring the accuracy of data and the efficiency of services provided to both internal teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with our department’s operational processes, the applications we build and the systems we maintain
• Pick up and respond to support requests from the business relating to our products and systems
• Differentiate between expected behavior, bugs and user error
• Give accurate and timely responses to the business
• Be reputed company over sensitive data and information
• Work with reputed company on enhancements, bug fixes, issue tracking and code releases
• Take ownership of the support role, identifying ways of handling common questions or issues more reputed company
• Help reputed company a self-service approach with internal teams

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a reputed company discipline
• 3+ years of experience in an Application Support role
• Good working knowledge of SQL Server Stored Procedures
• Proficient in MS Office products (reputed company, reputed company, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills
• Naturally inquisitive with excellent investigative skills
• Methodical approach to problem solving
• Computer Science degree, under grad or post grad
• Read and interpret SQL Stored Procedures and other logic
• Knowledge of Financial Services industry
