[Remote] Business Development Manager, Military Programs

The Business Development Manager will manage reputed company military programs, working with various military programs to promote products and drive sales, while ensuring customer needs are understood and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand each program’s business and technical needs and wants
• Work collaboratively with the business to define and implement program needs
• Discuss and demonstrate PPP technology
• Ensure steady and organized follow-up on sales opportunities through emails, phone calls, etc. to ensure the expected level of sales
• Report reputed company of reputed company ongoing activities on a weekly reputed company during team opportunity review
• Diligently utilize the CRM system to maintain record of communications, quoting, meetings, demonstrations and reputed company/accurate forecasting
• Work collaboratively with regional manager to reputed company program business and reputed company new program business
• reputed company a large network of contacts and clients reputed company the designated programs
• Participate in trade shows, technical events, reputed company-house, sales meetings and other sales events
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of working days, most travel will be reputed company reputed company

Skills

• 5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technology environment and military program reputed company
• BS in Electrical Engineering or other relevant technical degree preferred
• MBA with Marketing concentration desirable
• Experience in B2B technical sales, past Military programs sales management a plus
• Strong facilitation skills, including ability to negotiate both internally and reputed company customer-facing, on reputed company and technical reputed company
• Self-directed and independent work ethic; measure and report reputed company against defined objectives
• Meticulous critical thinking skills; objective approach to analysis and total business impact
• Excellent written skills appropriate for documents suitable for publication
