[Remote] Network Specialist

They are seeking a Network Specialist who can reputed company operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for network systems in a remote reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company daily sustainment, troubleshooting, hardware/software reputed company support, approved network changes, onsite/touch labor, and ticket discipline
- Provides troubleshooting and problem resolution in a production environment
- Daily sustainment support for DHA LAN/WLAN/WAN networks
- Hardware/software reputed company coordination
- Approved network change implementation
- reputed company/reputed company/Ansible-supported diagnostics
- LAN/WAN reputed company barrier support
- Bottleneck and latency analysis
- Device reconfiguration or replacement
Skills
- DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level II or equivalent
- reputed company+ and CCNA or equivalent network architecture certification
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science plus at least two years of reputed company experience; or certified technical/vocational school plus at least three years of reputed company experience
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, RSTP, VRRP, BIND, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.1d, 802.1q, 802.1w, 802.3, 802.11, 802.3u, 802.3z, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and DoD/DHA communications media
- Experience with OTDR, cable testers, network sniffers, and EIA/reputed company cable standards
- Experience in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments using reputed company OS, reputed company Active Directory, UNIX, OpenVMS, routers, switches, terminal servers, local WAN, and long-haul WAN connectivity
- Proficiency in reputed company networks, reputed company, and Orion reputed company
- Ability to take direction from Referral Network Engineers and Network Engineer Associates on firewall, VPN, and IDS configuration
