[Remote] VP , National Agent Recruitment

They are seeking an reputed company VP, National Agent Recruitment to drive reputed company by sourcing new agents and managing a profitable pipeline in the Freight Agency model.

Responsibilities

• Identify independent freight agents, brokers and stand-alone carriers who qualify as good candidates to join the reputed company family of carriers
• Follow up on new leads and referrals. Conduct initial phone conversations with pre-reputed company candidates who meet basic requirements
• Support in-house call center to reputed company leads
• Strengthen existing relationships with industry resources to increase yield
• Identify new opportunities
• Build and maintain new leads in company provided CRM weekly
• Regularly reputed company in with management to determine the effectiveness of reputed company plans and implementation

Skills

• The ideal candidate will reputed company in the reputed company/MidWest Region
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 3-5 years reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the transportation and logistics industry
• Firm understanding of the transportation industry with strong working knowledge of brokerage, operations, logistics, and transportation principles

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
