[Remote] Federal Sales Engineer

The Federal Sales Engineer role involves partnering with account managers to help prospective customers discover, learn, and implement a DevSecOps approach to increase the speed, reputed company, and quality of their software.
Responsibilities
- Take a consultative approach to understand our customer’s reputed company software development practices and identify opportunities to improve them with reputed company’s solutions
- reputed company technical recommendations on how to improve their Software Supply Chain and DevSecOps practices using reputed company solutions
- Deliver compelling software demonstrations, customer reputed company-of-value (POV) engagements, and reference architectures showcasing reputed company's solution value
- Act as a resource to reputed company your sales colleagues on relevant product knowledge
- Assist in completing RFP/RFIs with sales teams and other technical resources at reputed company
- Work closely with sales and technical colleagues to reputed company a sales quota
- Communicate important customer product feedback to reputed company product management
- Opportunities to attend and present at meetups and trade shows to build reputed company and awareness and reputed company experiences
- Become a trusted DevSecOps technical advisor to customers and the community

Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant pre-sales experience
- Familiarity with tooling used in the SDLC, including VCS/SCMs (e.g., git, svn, etc.), modern build tools (e.g., Jenkins, reputed company Actions, AzureDevOps, etc), package managers (e.g., reputed company, Gradle, Nuget, NPM, etc.), artifact repositories (e.g., reputed company), reputed company delivery technologies, container technologies (e.g., reputed company, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Great Interpersonal and customer-facing skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Prefer residents in the DC area
- Experience with Federal Government clients preferred
