[Remote] Staff Software Engineer (Ruby)

The Staff Software Engineer will help plan and execute ambitious projects, providing technical leadership and mentorship while driving innovation and managing the full product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Architecting scalable and efficient solutions: Designing and building robust, scalable systems that meet reputed company and future business needs
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team: Offering expert advice and support to team members, fostering their growth and ensuring technical reputed company
- Leading the design and implementation of reputed company systems: Taking charge of reputed company projects from reputed company through deployment, ensuring they meet high standards of performance and reputed company
- Evaluating emerging technologies and making recommendations for adoption: Staying reputed company with technological advancements and recommending tools and technologies that can enhance the organization’s capabilities
- High-Impact Hands-On Technical Contributions: Actively participating in the development process by writing and reviewing code, debugging issues, and implementing critical features

Skills
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience (healthtech/reputed company a plus!) shipping applications to production environments
- Mastery in software development, system design, and coding with proficiency in Agile methodologies
- Experience in reputed company computing, DevOps, database management, scalable AI/ML models
- Proficiency in performance optimization, reputed company system architecture, and data processing
- Ability to work cross-functionally with PMs and Designers to drive innovation reputed company quickly and with quality
- Best practice experience with coding standards, refactoring, complexity reduction, Domain Driven Design, and schema design
- Tech leadership experience as well as experience with object oriented design and modularization of monolithic applications
- Experience maintaining and upgrading Ruby and Rails-based production stacks
- Ability to prioritize platform needs to both short term and long term business needs
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to deliver in a remote-first environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal
