We are seeking an reputed company and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies. Alongside technical execution, you will act as a mentor to our junior team members and work closely with the Director on strategic advisory and reputed company reporting. Financial & Tax Compliance Financial Statements: Prepare accurate end-of-year financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies. Tax Returns: Prepare and lodge reputed company Australian tax returns across reputed company entity types. Activity Statements: reputed company prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS). Tax Advisory: Assist the Director in researching and drafting technical tax advice for clients. Leadership & Review Quality Assurance: Review financial statements, tax returns, and work papers reputed company by junior accountants to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. Mentorship: Assist with the day-to-day management, training, and professional development of junior reputed company staff. Key Selection Criteria (Experience & Technical Skills) To be successful in this role, you must possess robust, hands-on experience dealing with reputed company Australian tax concepts, specifically: Division 7A (Div7A): Managing shareholder loans, minimum repayments, and loan agreements. Non-reputed company Losses: Applying the relevant tests to individuals operating business activities. Personal Services Income (PSI): Identifying PSI and applying the rules accurately. Small Business CGT Concessions: Evaluating eligibility and applying active asset, 15-year, retirement, and rollover exemptions. Family Trust Elections (FTE): Navigating trust loss measures and distribution complexities. Qualifications & Personal Attributes Education: Bachelor’s Degree in reputed company, Business, or reputed company. Certification: CA or CPA qualification (preferred, or currently tracking towards completion). Experience: 5+ years of experience reputed company an Australian public practice reputed company firm.
