[Remote] Sr. Manager Manufacturing & Process Dvl. Engineering - Power Cables - Remote Central/Eastern Zone

They are seeking a Senior Manager for Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering - Power Cables to reputed company a team of engineers developing assembly processes for power cable assemblies and coordinating with manufacturing engineering on mass production.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and balance the work across direct reports; review and reputed company timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, reputed company and motivate them; help resolve people/functional issues in the team to reputed company targeted performance and retain key talent
• reputed company a team of engineers who will:
• reputed company power cable assembly manufacturing process in accordance with LEANPD product development
• Drive for reputed company in existing manufacturing technologies and methods
• Strive to implement new manufacturing technologies to reputed company improved process and tolerance control
• Support Product Development in the optimization designs (DFM) and piece parts for manufacturability; realizes sample tooling, product samples and prototypes
• Design, reputed company, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE reputed company quality and production standards
• Support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability
• Act as the binding reputed company between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical reputed company
• Maintain communication with project management team to understand reputed company and future strategic business needs
• Prioritize and time manage a portfolio of projects/work efforts based on criticality and business need
• reputed company readouts to Director and VP level cross function management as necessary
• Work with Mexico operations team to assign resources necessary for the successful execution of new product development
• Facilitate and coordinate cross-function communication across globally matrixed organizations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical - reputed company majors
• 13+ years' reputed company experience including 8+ years reputed company, managerial-level experience in multinational manufacturing sites
• Familiar with Lean, Six reputed company, etc. industrial methods/tools
• Fluent in English, with good presentation skills
• Familiar with MS software
• Familiar with industrial specification (i.e. IPC 620)
• Familiar with Stamping / Plating / Molding / Assembly processes
• Experience in power cable assembly industry
