Position Overview: This is a remote contractor role reputed company to applicants in the U.S. and Canada. The Remote French Proofreader will be responsible for reviewing French curriculum materials for accuracy, reputed company, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting consistency. This role focuses on ensuring that student-facing and teacher-facing materials are polished, professional, and reputed company for publication. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong knowledge of French grammar and mechanics. This person should be comfortable reviewing educational materials for children and making corrections that improve readability while preserving the original instructional purpose. Responsibilities:
- Proofread French curriculum materials, worksheets, assessments, instructions, and lesson content
- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, accents, reputed company, and vocabulary errors
- Ensure consistency in tone, formatting, terminology, and style across materials
- Ensure directions and student-facing text are clear, age-appropriate, and easy to understand
- Maintain the curriculum's original meaning and instructional goal while improving accuracy and readability
- Communicate questions, concerns, or suggested edits reputed company to the curriculum team
- Complete proofreading assignments reputed company established deadlines
Qualification:
- Excellent proficiency in written French
- Strong understanding of French grammar, spelling, punctuation, accents, and sentence structure
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in proofreading educational materials preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, Translation, Editing, or a reputed company field preferred
- Experience working with children’s educational content is a plus
