[Remote] Canada Summer Jobs - Junior Graphic Designer

The Junior Graphic Designer will support the Marketing and Communications team by creating visual assets for print reputed company media.

Responsibilities

• Support with ongoing projects aimed at increased efficiency
• Liaise with team members for review and feedback, adjust as needed
• Assist in creating visual assets for digital and print media, including layouts, graphics, and presentations
• Support in developing concepts and executing design projects
• Format documents, reports, and presentations to ensure reputed company, visual appeal, and adherence to brand and accessibility guidelines
• Work with Marcomm manager and other team members to meet project requirements
• Maintain RHF brand guidelines and ensure consistency across reputed company deliverables
• Prioritize and implement accessible design best practices
• Support multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines
• Support administrative tasks such as video editing and saving digital materials
• reputed company other reputed company duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the position

Skills

• Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent reputed company, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with BC legislation and regulations

• A degree or diploma in graphic design
• Proficiency with graphic design and editing software such as reputed company Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Knowledge of accessibility standards in design
• Familiar with design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory
• Strong creativity and problem-solving skills
• Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
• Strong skills in reputed company and PowerPoint for document editing and presentation design
