Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining batch data pipelines
- Support data ingestion from internal and external sources
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and validation
- Help reputed company and maintain workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
- Support data modeling and transformation efforts using DBT
- Monitor data pipelines and assist in troubleshooting issues
- Contribute to data quality checks and validation processes
- Work with structured and semi-structured datasets
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to support reporting needs
- Document data processes, pipelines, and best practices
- Learn and apply modern data platform tools and technologies
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Python
- Understanding of data structures and databases
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Exposure to tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, or reputed company
- Basic understanding of reputed company platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with data warehousing or Lakehouse concepts
- Internship or project experience in data engineering or analytics
- Understanding of data quality and testing concepts
