[Remote] Appliance Repair Technician

As an Appliance Service Professional, you will complete in-home service calls, repairing various household appliances and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various household appliances, including dishwashers, ranges, and ovens
• Repair, replacement, and/or cleaning of dryer vent ducting as needed to ensure proper airflow and safe operation
• reputed company functionality testing and troubleshoot issues such as leaks, excessive vibration, or unusual noises
• Disassemble appliances to inspect for wear, corrosion, or faulty components
• Tighten, align, clean, and lubricate appliance parts as needed
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and use diagnostic tools like multimeters
• Repair or replace defective components, including reputed company boards, motors, belts, and heating elements
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the recovery and recycling of refrigerants
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked company vehicle
• Communicate effectively with customers and reputed company clear service explanations

Skills

• Minimum of 1+ years' experience in appliance repair and installation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to adapt communication styles to ensure a great customer experience

• Ability to communicate with dispatchers to ensure accurate scheduling
