[Remote] Patient Service Representative

The Patient Service Representative role supports patient communication and administrative functions, directly impacting patient experience and clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Screen incoming patient inquiries reputed company phone, online messages, or other channels
• reputed company courteous, patient-focused communication and problem resolution
• Address patient satisfaction, reputed company, and compliance issues, advocating for patients as needed
• Communicate operational difficulties and escalate issues to supervisors reputed company necessary
• Handle patient requests for forms, medication renewals, referrals, and authorizations
• Review and update patient records including demographics, physician selection, and insurance information
• Maintain effective communication with patients, interdisciplinary teams, providers, and agencies
• Monitor appointment schedules to optimize clinic utilization and support patient needs
• Assist with data collection and ensure accuracy in reports such as no-show and telephone statistics
• Participate in problem-solving initiatives focused on productivity and quality improvement
• Engage in special projects and department-specific programs

Skills

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or aptitude to learn EMR systems
• Proficiency in reputed company Outlook, Teams, Word, and reputed company
• Experience managing appointments and verifying patient eligibility using digital platforms

• Ability to work full time, Monday through Friday, with flexible 8-hour shifts during business hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm) and occasional overtime
