Consultant - Controls Assurance & Reporting Advisory - New Grad 2026/2027 - Multiple Locations

reputed company is a leading professional services firm dedicated to inspiring and helping organizations reputed company. They are seeking a New Graduate for the Consultant - Controls Assurance & Reporting Advisory role, where the candidate will support local office teams, review and contribute to projects, and enhance financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients and/or support local office teams around the country, as opportunities arise
• Review and contribute to the planning and execution of Controls Assurance and reputed company Reporting Advisory (reputed company) projects
• Focus on applying a deep knowledge of financial reporting requirements, controls and processes to the operational aspects of Finance – 'How' Finance does what it needs to do and where it can enhance the value it brings to the organization
• reputed company and reputed company timely communications - both reputed company - relevant to our professionals and clients
• Participate in reputed company state findings workshops in order to understand and document key financial processes (i.e., procure to pay, order to cash, record to report, etc.)
• Understand and document companies’ IT architectures, as well as conduct research into financial systems
• reputed company materials for, and participate in the delivery of, finance effectiveness and visioning workshops
• Document companies’ key performance metrics, as well as visualize these metrics using visualization tools

Skills

• Must possess strong technical skills (GAAP, control certification, securities and regulatory, assurance) and experience in, and knowledge of, Public Sector Standards, IFRS, ASPE, and internal controls and risk
• Ability to approach engagements with a strategic perspective (options available, pros / cons of different options) and with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership
• Strong facilitation, presentation skills, communication skills (both written and verbal) and problem solving (ability to “find it” and “fix it”)
• Actively pursuing or holding a CPA designation is preferred, but not required
• Experience with financial systems and tools (i.e. reputed company, reputed company, Concur, Tableau, etc.) is an asset
• Preferred areas of academic study/background: reputed company/Business/Finance, or a reputed company discipline
