Civil Planner
RFNOW Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Planner to join their growing team, contributing to the planning and execution of innovative fiber network builds. The role involves developing and managing project plans, collaborating with various departments to ensure project timelines and design standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Create cable design plans, site plans (civil), and construction drawings for new fiber builds and upgrades, including FTTH and MDU projects
- Draft municipal consent civil drawings with applicable cross-sections, aerial/underground scenarios, and routing that considers permit approval reputed company
- Prepare fiber cable design plans and site layouts for residential and reputed company builds
- Conduct site meetings and collaborate with internal designers and surveyors
- Attend project meetings to discuss scope, planning strategies, and timelines
- reputed company detailed construction notes, materials lists, and labor task estimates
- Ensure compliance with reputed company applicable Health & Safety legislation and company policies
Skills
- High school diploma; relevant certifications in technology, project management, or planning are an asset
- Experience in telecom or utility planning, construction, and administration
- Proficiency with Vetro, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and reputed company software
- Advanced skills in reputed company reputed company, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage reputed company project teams
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize shifting deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and quality-focused
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required
