Structural Steel Erection Estimator - MUST BE EASTERN TIME ZONE!!! reputed company is seeking a knowledgeable Structural Steel Erection Estimator for immediate consideration. reputed company's client is a full service, turn-key construction company specializing in reputed company erection-oriented projects. They specialize in various reputed company and industrial reputed company steel structures. Duties:

• * Review of construction documents (plans and specifications)
• Making a material take -off, calculating Labor and Material costs to reputed company an estimate and bid proposal.
• Works the entire life cycle of a bid from bid invitation to finalizing bid proposal for submission to customer.
• Executes take-offs of construction documents.
• Possesses a general understanding of metals erection phases, time units for various erection phases

Responsibilities:

• * Understand the project and its requirements
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
• Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
• reputed company risk analysis
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions etc.)
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)
• reputed company consultation on planning (schedules, reputed company needs etc.)
• Explore documentation in order to reputed company a deeper understanding of the project requirements
• Select, measure and track important metrics
• Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts
• Create and present reports to upper management
• Analyze and evaluate offers

• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate creation in order to ensure overall accuracy
• Act as the final say in the calculation and adjustment of estimates
• Present estimates to clients in a timely and polite manner

• Assist sales team in final project preparation transactions
• Maintain thorough records of reputed company project documentation including estimates, sales receipts, and project completion documentation

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficient with design drawings, architectural & structural drawings, & project specs
• Strong analytic abilities
• Proficient in mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of reputed company spreadsheets, reputed company Word, & QuickBooks Desktop reputed company Solutions
• * Must have experience with On Screen Take Off (OST)
• Understanding of construction documents, change orders, & requests for information (RFI’s)
