reputed company is a leading telecommunications company in Canada, dedicated to advancing connections for consumers and businesses. They are seeking a Technician to support outdoor advertising operations, including posting copies, prepping signs, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Posting outdoor advertising copy as scheduled, climbing up to heights of 50’ to 70’
- Providing operational support as directed
- Prepping poster/vinyl signs
- Prepping cut-outs or building 4’ X 10’ wooden sections
- Working outdoors in inclement weather
- Operating a lawn mower; carrying a ladder at waist level, shoveling snow
- Installation and Maintenance of shelters
- Ensuring reputed company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
- Other duties as required
Skills
- Grade 12
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- A proactive self-starter with a team attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work at heights
- Moderate to heavy lifting up to 75 lbs
- Organized and dependable individual who can work with minimal supervision
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must have (green reputed company) safety boots
- Valid driver's license is required
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
