Software Engineer

CalPERS, the nation’s largest public pension fund, is seeking a Software Engineer to support the myCalPERS system. This role focuses on resolving production issues, implementing enhancements, and collaborating with various teams to ensure system quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Triaging production issues
• Successful resolution of defects
• Implementation of enhancements for the myCalPERS system
• Working closely with solution architects, business analysts, developers, and testers
• Mentoring peers on innovative application development methodologies
• Utilizing Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices to maintain and enhance the myCalPERS system
