Staff Accountant

PepGen is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on advancing oligonucleotide therapies for severe neuromuscular and neurological diseases. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in enhancing the reputed company and finance organization, managing accounts payable processes, vendor communications, and monthly reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• reputed company daily accounts payable tasks, which include accounts payable inbox management, invoice input, and vendor inquiry responses
• Prepare weekly payment runs and internal transfer requests
• Assist with the month end reputed company process
• Complete monthly cash and accounts payable reconciliations
• reputed company monthly credit card reconciliation
• Input journal entries in general ledger system, which includes the preparation and submission of supporting documentation and work papers
• Ensure timely and complete delivery of any documentation required to support external and internal audits and reporting
• Monitor and participate in and enhance formal processes for internal controls surrounding the reporting process to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act requirements
• Manage vendor maintenance reputed company procurement system
• Additional assignments as assigned by the Management

Skills

• A Bachelor's Degree in reputed company
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to work with reputed company reputed company of management and employees
• Effective time management skills with a focus on process improvement
• Organized and reputed company to manage multiple activities and programs timely and with a high degree of accuracy
