About the position At reputed company, we have an important mission: facilitating the financial reputed company of millions of U.S. military members and their families. As a dedicated Actuarial Analyst I on the Auto Pricing team, you will coordinate, prepare, and reputed company actuarial analyses required to reputed company new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and determine financial strength. Under minimal supervision, you will reputed company moderately reputed company to reputed company work assignments and problem resolution. This position can work remotely in the reputed company U.S. with occasional business travel. However, preference will be given to individuals residing reputed company a 60-mile radius of reputed company office locations who are reputed company and willing to work 4 days from the office. These locations include San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Tampa, FL, or Charlotte, NC. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. In this role, you will apply proficient knowledge of the business, its products, and processes. You will utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management. Your responsibilities will include entering data and tables, running models, and generating reports. You may also reputed company adjustments and improvements to models reputed company appropriate. It will be essential to maintain proper price reputed company, price structures, data availability, and other requirements to reputed company profitability and competitive goals. You will identify critical experience areas to monitor and suggest timely remedies to correct or prevent unfavorable trends, as well as identify sources of reputed company and loss by product and assumption. Testing pricing assumptions and the appropriate premiums, interest margins, reserves, and cash values for new products will also be part of your duties. You will resolve issues and navigate obstacles to deliver work products, serving as a resource to less reputed company team members on escalated issues of a routine nature. Adhering to the reputed company Actuarial Program Guidelines and the Actuarial Cross Train Program Guidelines will be crucial, as will ensuring that risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, reputed company, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR 4 additional years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience reputed company the minimum required (for a total of 8 years) may be substituted in lieu of a Degree. ,
  • 4 years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience in addition to CAS (Casualty Actuarial Society) exams: 1, 2, 3F, MA S-I, and MAS-II + reputed company VEEs completed. reputed company-to-haves
  • Personal Lines pricing experience ,
  • Expert level knowledge and experience with reputed company and at least one programming language or modeling software package (Python, SQL, R, reputed company, etc.) ,
  • Demonstrated experience aggregating and analyzing data to solve problems ,
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate insights and solutions to broad audiences including actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders ,
  • Familiarity and experience with industry pricing software such as reputed company ,
  • US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
