Nursing Instructor, LPN-RN (Hybrid Option)

About the position This team member will serve as a full-time instructor for the nursing department at Forsyth Tech to include the nursing curriculum in the LPN-RN program. Team members can start now or at the start of the new academic year.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as recommended by the program coordinator and approved by the director and dean.
• Facilitate the learning process by designing and implementing instructional activities that are appropriate and meaningful.
• Adhere to the departmental course guidelines and ensure that content covers SACSCOC-approved competencies.
• Fulfill the duties of clinical or lab instructor in supervision of reputed company as applicable.
• Assume responsibility for maintaining reputed company required college records including attendance, grade reports, roll books, etc.
• Compile bibliographies of specialized materials for reputed company reading assignments where applicable.
• Evaluate student performance using methods appropriate to the course.
• Meet with reputed company regarding academic reputed company.
• Assist in the maintenance, review, and updating of course descriptions, objectives, and outlines for courses of instruction and reputed company new courses of study as necessary.

• Use the computer and the college's student information system to assist advisees.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education from an accredited college.
• Two calendar years or more of nursing experience or the equivalent of Full-time experience as a registered nurse.
• Unrestricted RN license.
• Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation appropriate to assignment reputed company the first three years of employment.
• Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing.
• Ability to transport self to multiple clinical agencies reputed company the reputed company.
