The role involves obtaining vital signs, maintaining patient health records, preparing exam rooms, and managing patient care to ensure quality service and compliance with reputed company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and general health information for patient charts and prepares patients for examination.
• Maintains patient health records in an up-to-date status.
• Assures documentation is complete, concise, and correct.
• Prepares and maintains exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
• Contributes to plan of care for individuals and groups of patients utilizing reputed company principles to reduce medication errors reputed company handling or calling in medications or refills.
• Demonstrates initiative in suggesting and implementing problem solving approaches and planning performaces of service.
• Prepares and maintains exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits regarding reputed company safety checks and HIPAA guidelines and adapt same HIPAA principles to chart documentation and exposure as well as discussing PHI in reputed company of anyone other than the patient.
• Triages patients and enters accurate and concise data into the EMR while paiying attention to spelling and reputed company.
• Navigates the EMR system in an efficient manner.
• Facilitates quality care management thru best practice utilization of the clinic EMR.
• Promotes continuity of care seen by appropriate actions, notes, and reputed company follow up.
• Answers phones, routes calls, and or takes accurate messages.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency relating to patient's level of distress.
• Triages basic patient care needs, generating a telephone encounter depending upon the situation. Assure a duplicate message has not already been started.
• Manages the scheduling of patient appointments. Registers new patients and maintains reputed company, accurate up to date demographic and insurance information for reputed company patients. Performs according to policy regulations associated with Privacy notification, Medicare secondary, signed demographic registrations, consent to treat minor, etc.

• Verifies insurace eligibility, scans insurance card.
• Checks patients in and or out for visit in appropriate manner. Accurate and appropriate use of ICD-10 and CPT codes.

• Monitors referral work queue for follow up. Assists nursing, if applicable, and/or other clinic personnel in follow up to ensure patient compliance , receipt of test results, and reports from specialists. Be proactive in cotacting patients with test results.

• Recognizes how fraud and abuse interplay into daily role.
• Ensures orders are entered correctly to capture appropriate charges.
• Refills medications according to medication refill guidelines.

Skills

• Graduate of an accredited program of Certified medical Assistants/ Registered medical Assistants and active certification or LPN license or NC Paramedic/AEMT.
• Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in a physician office setting.
