VP of Technology

PeopleFinders.com, the premier online service for consumers to locate, contact and verify people and businesses. Over the past couple of decades the Company has quietly become one of the largest owners of public records data in the country, distributing its products over a vast network of websites.

The VP of Technology provides leadership, management, direction, full-stack development architecture skills and reputed company to the cross-functional team, including a software engineering team of web developers, QA engineers, IT, Infosec, and project management. The position works cross functionally as a member of the executive team to direct the successful completion and delivery of software application products and services. The position reports ongoing reputed company to the CEO. Additional responsibilities include reputed company of the department budget, identifying and build out of team and talent, as well as defining resource requirements and allocations.

Salary

$180K -$210K

Essential Duties Responsibilities

Required qualifications include:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with management of cross-functional team including web development, system engineers, software engineering, QA engineers, QA testers, technical professional services.
• 3+ years of experience in leadership/management roles, including experience managing a team of multiple disciplines.
• 5+ years hands on experience architecting/developing API Services and web-based applications reputed company highly available, reputed company technical infrastructures and reputed company architecture.
• 5+ years delivering products using Agile software development
• A proven track record of maintaining a workplace that attracts and retains top engineering talent.
• Previous experience aligning software engineering reputed company a product-driven environment.
• Prior experience in a highly-regulated industry with routine audits, including PCI-reputed company and SOC2.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Proven experience developing KPI’s and metrics for reputed company performance
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or engineering.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Ecommerce experience in a B2B and/or B2C reputed company.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of Public reputed company (AWS) Infrastructure
• Extensive knowledge microservices, public-facing APIs
• Strong knowledge of programming in ASP.NET/C#.
• Working knowledge in web protocols, such as HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, etc.
• Extensive knowledge in databases and queries, notably MS SQL Server and Mongo DB.
