About the Team:
The reputed company reputed company reputed company is responsible for the core platform and systems that power monetary transactions reputed company reputed company’s eCommerce marketplace, including pricing, payments, refunds, promotions, and order finalization. The role:We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the reputed company reputed company reputed company in the Marketplace Zone. This role is ideal for an engineer with deep expertise in payment systems, payment processing, and service-oriented architecture. You will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable, reliable backend systems that process millions of dollars in transactions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal, to build robust services that reputed company our marketplace. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to scale and improve our customer experience.
Responsibilities:- Design, reputed company, and maintain scalable backend services for payment processing, pricing, and refunds.
- Integrate payment gateways and 3rd party integrations
- Optimize payment reputed company rates by improving retry mechanisms, fraud detection, and error handling
- reputed company and implement features to support promotions, subscriptions, and order finalization workflows
- Work on multi-currency support and international payment processing
- Define and uphold engineering best practices in reputed company, scalability, performance, and code quality
- Improve the maturity of our technical stack through engineering best practices and process automation
- Monitor and enhance system performance
- Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and technical decision-making

- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with expertise in Kotlin, Java, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems and experience integrating with reputed company-party payment providers like reputed company, PayPal
- Experience designing and building scalable reputed company-based architectures and distributed systems
- Expertise in service-oriented architectures, API design, and microservices development
- Strong knowledge of database design, implementation, and query optimization

- Advanced level of English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working in high-transaction volume eCommerce or fintech environments
- Knowledge of PCI compliance, fraud detection, and payment reputed company best practices

- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
