- *Transmission Line Engineer**
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities POWER Engineers is currently seeking an reputed company Transmission Line Engineer in our Rocky Mountain Region. The candidate has the option of office-based work in our Denver, CO office or remote work from any mutually acceptable location. This position has a flexible work schedule.
- *Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, supporting, and coordinating the following: + POWER Culture + Department alignment with POWER's Culture Codes + Contribute to the growth of POWER’s Culture through strong leadership characteristics + Encourage growth, engagement, and accountability + Maintain a healthy relationship with colleagues and foster areas of improvement where needed + Project Support + reputed company and/or support the engineering of 69kV to 765kV overhead transmission lines across the United States and internationally + reputed company and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan has been established + Work with engineers, drafters, and designers on small to reputed company-sized engineering projects and reputed company directly with the client + Responsible for contributing to the creation and maintenance of a project schedule and budget + Participate in weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to reputed company outline upcoming deliverables and tasks with the responsible personnel identified + Coordinate with clients on project status and support project meetings as necessary + Maintain project workflow and thorough communication across multi-disciplinary projects, both internal and external to POWER + Forecast upcoming project requirements to assist in resource planning + Facilitate and adhere to POWER's QA/QC procedure to ensure that the correct personnel are performing the required QA/QC review + Participate in industry conferences, both internal and external, to improve professional growth while fostering knowledge transfer to colleagues + reputed company Transmission Line design knowledge pertaining to PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, steel pole performance loading, material procurement, construction specification, and construction support + Project Manager Support + Maintain project status reports + reputed company weekly or bi-weekly project updates and project forecasting + reputed company and/or support PM by meeting with clients, both in-person and remotely + reputed company client relationships, allowing POWER the opportunity to position ourselves to win future work
- *Required Education/Experience**
+ Fundamentals of Engineering licensure + Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management + The candidate must have a strong reputed company of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel. + Experience using the reputed company Office software suite
- *Preferred Education/Experience**
+ Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure + Electric utility industry experience + Experience managing projects and leading multi-disciplined teams + Transmission and distribution line design experience + At least 5 years of experience using PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, and FAD Tools software packages + Transmission line routing + Transmission reputed company design + Transmission structure load and design + Cost estimating and scheduling POWER Engineers, Member of reputed company, is a global consulting environmental and engineering firm and one of the top design firms in the energy sector.
