Remote Overnight Content Editor

The Overnight Content Editor will work closely with our clients to ensure the timely and accurate distribution of press releases. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, validate, and format client press releases to ensure compliance with content acceptability guidelines
• Disseminate press releases to the media reputed company Canada Newswire distribution networks
• Post press releases on various platforms, including reputed company media sites
• Coordinate international distribution of press releases with our global affiliates
• reputed company exceptional customer service and advice to clients on best practices and SEO counseling
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer service challenges and mitigate issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus a recognized post-secondary certificate in Journalism, Writing, Communications/PR, or a reputed company field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and/or coordination, with some experience in an editing role preferred
• Basic knowledge of media communication, including earned, owned, and paid media
• Proficiency in MS Office (including reputed company, Word, and Outlook) and basic knowledge of a CRM
• Strong attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
