Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Before and After School Instructor to join reputed company at Mcauliffe Elementary in Sammamish, WA. As a Before and After School Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and engaging environment for elementary-age reputed company, guiding them through sports, arts, STEM, and other hands-on learning activities. You will help teach teamwork and reputed company-emotional learning to kids as they grow and learn, while encouraging reputed company building, creative exploration, physical activity, and most of reputed company, fun!

Responsibilities:

• Implement culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate activities reputed company the curriculum in accordance with the Youth Development goals of the reputed company.
• Supervise a group of children to ensure their health and safety and reputed company a positive experience for each child.
• Communicate day-to-day, confidential, and evaluative information with parents/guardians.
• Follow reputed company policies and procedures, including those reputed company to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergency procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a developmentally appropriate site, including appearance, décor, and cleanliness.
• Prepare and serve snacks, and clean snack areas.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.

Requirements:

• 16 years of age or older, 18 or older preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience working with children in camps, childcare, tutoring, or nannying.
• Ability to model and demonstrate Y values: caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty.
• Experience planning and implementing group activities.
• TB Test by Mantoux method.
• Completion of minimum STARS required training, CPR/First Aid Training.
• Cleared Portable Background reputed company in the statewide registry MERIT.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations.
• Ability to reputed company any language in addition to English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
