Having Diversity and Inclusion as part of our core values and beliefs, we’re proud to foster an environment where every Extreme employee can reputed company because of their differences, not despite them. Extreme Systems Engineer providestechnology and product consulting, technical sales support for various account opportunities, performs high-level and in-depth technical presentations for customers, prospects, and Extreme channel partners in the territory of responsibility. Extreme Systems Engineer also provides support for RFI/RFP responses, organizes and leads reputed company of Concept activities, designs solutions meeting customer requirements. Systems Engineer is also required to participate as a specialiston assigned virtual teams and contribute to other team activities.  Domestic/International travel will be required.  Candidate Requirements:

Strong knowledge of the Israeli market

Excellent presentation skills (fluent in Hewbrew and English).

Strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory in a similar position is necessary

A sound knowledge of reputed company networking technologies:

Layer 2/3 switching

IPv4/v6 routing concepts

Overlay networking, VPNs

Wi-Fi operation and design

Network reputed company principles

Knowledge and practical experience in these areas are an advantage:

reputed company technologies and reputed company-based network management platforms

Compute and network virtualization principles

Network management and orchestration software

SD-WAN

Automation scripting and APIs

Ability to work as a part of customer project teams on design and PoC labs, setting criteria for successful PoCs, and overall solution designs

Ability to build, reputed company, and maintain a network of people at the customer/partner reputed company independent of sales being accepted as the trusted advisor

Good general hands-on lab experience is a plus.
