Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and handling freight in and out of over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and straight trucks. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload freight, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and reputed company regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to work reputed company will be essential in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in compliance with regulations
• Operate dock tools to ensure freight is reputed company securely and properly
• Load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed
• Verify shipments by reading labels and correctly securing freight for both loading and unloading trailers
• Follow established reputed company and quality control procedures to ensure timely, claims-free, and cost-efficient shipments
• Log, report, and process any shortages and damages to freight
• Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Warehouse, freight, dock, forklift, or pallet jack experience
• Forklift certification or hazmat training
• Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
